Lindsey Boylan leads the impeachment demonstration in NYC Cuomo as fans gather in support

Protesters came to bury Governor Andrew Cuomo – and to praise him – at the duel rallies in Manhattan on Saturday.

Lindsey Boylan, the first accuser whose allegations of sexual harassment while a member of Cuomo’s team lit the fuse in the ongoing effort to oust him, led the demands for his impeachment in Washington Square Park.

“The abuse is not limited to one person or area,” Boylan said to a crowd of about 100 activists. “Someone who abuses his power doesn’t just do it to a woman or to a community. They do this at some level for everyone and every community. “

Boylan, now a Democratic candidate for the Manhattan district presidency, also criticized State Assembly President Carl Heastie, accusing him of leading a “fraudulent investigation” in the series of accusations against Cuomo, his longtime ally.

Meanwhile, in Midtown, about 40 “cuomosexuals” gathered in front of the governor’s office on Third Avenue to show their support, displaying homemade signs with the words “Cancel the Karen culture, don’t cuomo” and “Don’t resign”.

“He’s an emotional guy, he’s Italian,” said Karen Gregorski, 73, of Manhattan, dismissing the accusations of harassment and abuse made by Boylan and seven other women.

“Did he kiss someone or touch someone’s cheeks? Come on, ”said Gregorski. “If he touched my cheeks, I would kiss him.”
