A group of TikTok stars was attacked for flying from California’s COVID-19 hotspot to the Bahamas, although at least one of them told fans to stay home in the middle of the pandemic.
Charli, 16, and Dixie D’Amelio, 19, Chase Hudson, 18, Noah Beck, 19, and Madi Monroe, 16, were spotted at Atlantis Bahamas with videos of the young influencers emerging on Monday night.
Atlantis Bahamas required that they present proof of a negative COVID-19 test before entering the resort. They are also required to stay in a “safe zone” on the island during their stay and are eligible for the free quick trial.

The footage shows the group with someone who appears to be a member of the team wearing an Atlantis shirt. Another image showed Beck and Hudson in what appeared to be the Saint Laurent store located in the Crystal Court shopping area of Atlantis Bahamas.
Monroe, who is believed to have a net worth of about $ 1 million, shared a photo of him on a plane with the caption: ‘I’m on my way’.

Users were referring to an Instagram Live video in which Charli, whose family recently launched a reality show on Hulu, was seen telling people to protect themselves.

Meanwhile, health officials in Los Angeles are trying to cope with the overwhelming number of hospitalizations, as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.
Last week, California became the first state to exceed 2 million cases of the virus.
And on Tuesday, strict state home orders were renewed indefinitely for much of California, as the state’s top health official said many hospitals were on the brink of crisis.
Severe restrictions imposed earlier this month on social and economic life have been extended in densely populated southern California – home to more than half of the state’s 40 million people – based on data showing that intensive care units are likely to remain busy or close to capacity for weeks to come.
Requests for hospitalization, among the most stringent in the United States, are also being renewed in the agricultural heartland of the San Joaquin Valley, whose hospital ICUs have stayed weeks with little or no available sleeping space.
California Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly said Los Angeles County, the most populous, has been hit particularly hard by weeks of infections and hospitalizations.
At least 90 percent of county hospitals, he said, were overwhelmed by the influx of COVID-19 patients who were forced to divert emergency patients to other facilities for much of the day last weekend.
No hospital has formally notified public health officials that they have gone so far as to operate on a ‘crisis care’ basis, involving rationing medical treatment and supplies for the most ill patients, said Ghaly.
However, he added, “some hospitals in Southern California have implemented some practices that would be part of crisis treatment”, such as assessing “the effectiveness of certain treatments for certain patients who are unlikely to survive or be well.”
Ghaly said he was not aware of cases so drastic as to require doctors to choose, for example, between two patients who needed to be placed on a ventilator when only one was available. But he said that hospital managers are doing everything they can to prepare for deteriorating conditions in order to avoid such dire scenarios.
“We can see the worst in early January,” he told reporters in an online interview. “And most of the hospital leaders I spoke to in Southern California are preparing for just that.”

A former competitive dancer, she saw a meteoric rise to fame on the Millennium-centric short video platform when her dances went viral.
In one of the family’s many endeavors, including a web series entitled Dinner With The D’Amelios, Charli and Dixie found themselves in trouble after being accused of disrespecting their private chef.
Dixie was seen dramatically spitting out a snail from the chef’s paella and fleeing the table while Charli seemed to scoff at the meal while ordering Dino Nuggets.
Both sisters addressed the situation on social media, saying it was all drama for the camera, as Dixie stated that the production team wanted to ‘get a reaction from her’ while she vomited ‘with the smell, thought or taste of anything ‘.
