Adams’ wife Lacey Adams was first diagnosed with melanoma during a postpartum checkup in 2009, she wrote last year at Women’s Health.
The general surgeon wrote in Twitter last month that his wife was back at the hospital due to complications from cancer treatment and that he was grateful for “everyone who kept a hospital bed open for my loved ones”.
