Jessie Cave is back in the hospital with her 11-week-old baby. The English actress, best known for playing Lavender Brown in Harry Potter franchise, revealed that his son tested positive for COVID-19.
“Poor baby is greedy positive. He’s doing well and he’s doing well, but they are being vigilant and cautious, thankfully, ”she captioned an image on her son’s Instagram in a hospital room.
In the photo, a laptop shows the announcement by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson of a blockade in England to keep the new coronavirus variant under control. The actress watched the news in an isolated room.
“This strain is super powerful and contagious, so I hope people will take extra care in the coming weeks,” she added.
Cave welcomed his third son with comedian Alfie Brown in October. She had already opened up about the “slightly extreme” birth, revealing that her son was born 40 minutes after her bag burst. The boy was transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with the actress calling the experience “one of the most difficult moments of my life”.
“I really didn’t want to be back in a hospital right after his traumatic birth. Once again, I am amazed by the nurses and doctors ”, Trollied star wrote on Tuesday. “Please wish the baby a speedy recovery.”
On Monday, Johnson imposed a third national blockade to contain the new coronavirus strain, which was first discovered by scientists in the United Kingdom. Variant B.1.1.7, highly contagious of COVID-19, has also been detected in the USA
