Rep. Donalds: House Dems’ “weapon turned” race to make Trump’s impeachment case

The Left always uses race as a weapon for its arguments, said Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., On Thursday in reaction to House Democrats calling President Trump a white supremacist during the impeachment process.

“You black Americans and Hispanic Americans who voted for Donald Trump, who also support Donald Trump, so I think this lie is something the Left always does,” Donalds told Fox & Friends.

Donalds said the Capitol disturbances were “wrong” and to say that President Trump is a “white supremacist” is “equally wrong”.

“They always try to bring the race into something in order to turn their arguments into a weapon, to make people just be quiet, shut up and sit down,” said Donalds.

Donalds said the left is using “fascist policies to silence the right”.

“When Ayatollah Khamenei may have a tweet calling for Israel’s genocide and Twitter doesn’t flag and remove it, it just shows where Twitter’s standards are. They have no standards. Their standards are basically what they feel politically. So, that it’s for Jack on Twitter or anyone else, “said Donalds.

Donalds went on: “It is very clear that if you have a dissident political speech on the conservative side of the right-wing corridor, in quotes, in America, you must be quiet, you must be removed from the public square, but the left can foment riots, they they can do almost anything they want. “
