Ratatouille TikTok Musical raises more than $ 1 million for actors

If you feel a pair of tiny claws pulling your hair tonight, wishing you would buy a ticket for Ratatouille The TikTok Musical, do not try to fight against the will of your rodent pilot. First of all, having a talented rat taking the reins of your life for a while sounds like a vacation. Second, each pass purchased for the crowdsourcing theatrical event, starring Titus Burgess, Wayne Brady, Adam Lambert and Ashley Park, among others, raises money for artists in financial need. According to Deadline, the production has already earned more than $ 1 million for Actor’s Fund.

“I am thrilled that we started the new year with this seismic event that is clearly bringing such joy,” Actors Fund President and CEO Joseph P. Benincasa told Deadline. “Our gratitude goes out to the producers, creators, artists and everyone in the TikTok community who came together to make everything happen so wonderfully.”

Perhaps the first musical meme, the extremely online, crowdsourced Ratatouille The show came from the TikTok theater community, which created a complete production based on the 2007 Pixar film about Remy, a rat who happens to be a culinary wizard and must command a hard-working chef in his quest for a five-star dining experience.

In case you missed Ratatouille The TikTok MusicalFriday’s premiere, or the respective mice from the quarantine pod were all focused on making a big New Year’s Day brunch for their hangovers, don’t worry. Production is currently available for purchase on demand, but only until Monday, January 4 at 7:00 pm ET, so get those paws moving.
