Marilyn Manson is being investigated by Los Angeles authorities on domestic violence charges after several women made disturbing complaints against the rocker.
“The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Special Victims Office is investigating allegations of domestic violence involving Mr. Brian Warner, aka ‘Marilyn Manson’, who works in the music industry. The incidents occurred between 2009 and 2011, when Mr. Warner lived in the city of West Hollywood, “a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said in a statement released to Fox News.
The investigation comes weeks after actress Evan Rachel Wood nominated Manson, 52, as her ex-abuser on social media. Wood’s claims prompted several other women to make similar claims.
The ongoing controversy resulted in Manson being removed from his label, Loma Vista Recordings. He was also removed from two television roles in Starz’s “American Gods” and AMC’s “Creepshow”.

Manson’s lawyer did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment. Last month, Manson denied Wood’s accusations. The actress, who was already engaged to Manson in 2010, posted her accusations on Instagram, claiming that the rocker “brainwashed and manipulated her” during their relationship. Manson “started to prepare me when I was a teenager and abused me terribly for years,” she wrote.
“I am tired of living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and summon the many industries that have enabled him, before he destroys more lives. I am with the many victims who will not do it anymore, be silent” , she continued.
The “Beautiful People” musician posted a denial on his own Instagram.
“Obviously, my art and my life have always been magnets for controversy, but these recent statements about me are horrible distortions of reality,” he said. “My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners.”

In addition, creative artist Love Bailey claimed that Manson once aimed a gun at her head in an interview with Fox News. Bailey said the incident happened while she was styling a haute couture photo shoot at Manson’s house, where an unidentified actress was also present.

Bailey claimed that Manson did this after she tried to help the actress who was visibly “inconsistent”.
