Lindsey Boylan, the first woman to accuse Cuomo of sexual harassment, criticized Harris and President Biden in a now-deleted tweet.

“The governor denied all wrongdoing,” wrote Boylan on Twitter. “He came on his platform today and said ‘there are a lot of motivations for people to get things done’. Boylan also criticized the White House in early March, tweeting that the public was “watching blue trolls harass me and other survivors” because Biden, Harris and other New York Democrats were “supporting with their silence”. Several Democrats mentioned in the tweet later called for Cuomo’s resignation.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki made reference to Harris in his answer to questions about Cuomo.

“The New York attorney general is, of course, looking for an independent investigation against Governor Cuomo. And that is appropriate. And the president believes it is appropriate. So is the vice president,” said Psaki.
