Justin Theroux used Instagram to honor his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in celebration of his 52nd birthday on Thursday.

And hours after posting, the 49-year-old actor was spotted walking around New York City with his beloved rescue dog Kuma.

Theroux faced the snowy weather with a black jacket that showed a Pit Bull design on the back.

He put the jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt and pulled on a pair of worn jeans.

In order to walk through the snow, Theroux put on a pair of stylish combat boots.

Adding a little more warmth to her ensemble, the Mulholland Drive star wore a black hat and a pair of leather gloves with red accents.

To adhere to the COVID-19 protocols, Justin kept his mouth and nose hidden with a face mask.

Justin walked down the sidewalk and through several piles of snow with Kuma’s guide wrapped around his hand.

Kuma, who Theroux frequently displays on his Instagram, looked adorable in a padded dog jacket while trotting alongside his owner.

For his birthday tribute to Jennifer, Justin shared a glamorous photo of his ex-partner climbing a spiral staircase with a mirrored wall and wrote: ‘[heart] you B! ‘

It is not known why the star of The Leftovers usually calls her by the nickname B, since the letter is not in her initials – her middle name is Joanna.

The two got married from 2015 to 2017, but managed to remain friendly after what Justin previously called a ‘smooth breakup’.

The Friends icon cast a look over her shoulder as she climbed the stairs while modeling a long flowing coat.
