Has PlayStation Store just leaked a new PS5 game?

Has PlayStation Store just leaked a new PS5 game? This week, PlayStation fans noticed that the PlayStation Store was displaying a popular PS4 game as having a PS5 version. The point is that Sony has not announced a next generation version for this PS4 game, suggesting that the PlayStation Store has only revealed some top-secret and sensitive grains. However, it is also possible that this is nothing more than a visual bug.

On Twitter, a PS5 player showed that the PlayStation Store has a PS5 version of Bloodborne listed, however, when you click on this listing, nothing happens, suggesting that the listing is an error. As expected, the post, which was accompanied by a video, quickly circulated as PlayStation fans went wild with speculation.

That said, while at the superficial level it looks like a leak-proof leak, other PlayStation users were quick to point out the fact that this could be nothing more than some kind of UI bug, as the PlayStation Store incorrectly listed the PS5 versions of other games in the past.

For now, it is difficult to know what should and should not be done about it. It looks like this may be the latest victim of a recurring bug, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that a PS5 version of Bloodborne it was also widely publicized.

At the time of publication, Sony Interactive Entertainment did not comment on the image and video above, nor its implications. At this point, it doesn’t look like this is going to change, especially when you consider Sony’s story of not commenting on leaks and possible leaks. In the meantime, be sure to take it all with a grain of salt.

Bloodborne it is not the only popular Sony game stranded on the PS4. Sony has not released state-of-the-art versions of many PS4 exclusives, such as 4 Uncharted: The end of a thief and Until dawn.
