“I love to see celebrities fail completely at TikTok,” wrote a follower.
Gwen Stefani is many things, but she may have to draw a line on the TikTok influencer.
This week, the No Doubt singer posted a video on her account showing her lip sync with the song “Bubble Pop Electric” from her 2004 album “Love. Angel. Music. Baby”.
While she looked great, she didn’t do a very good job of aligning her lips with the music. Many fans wondered why she did such a bad job singing along with her own music.
“I love to see celebrities totally fail at TikTok. I love Gwen, she’s an amazing buuuuut,” wrote a fan in the comments, a comment that caught Stefani’s attention.
Reposting the message in his Instagram story, Stefani agreed with the criticism.

The song – or, more specifically, its introduction – has been re-popularized by the social media site, with a ton of users making videos similar to Gwen’s in the past two months.
