Capcom released the highly anticipated demo for its next Nintendo Switch release Monster Hunter Rise.
Now that the eShop download issues have been resolved, VG Tech – the same YouTube channel that investigated the performance of the demos for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Pikmin 3 Deluxe – took a look at the new entry for Monster Hunter. This confirms that the game works at 30 stable fps (in the docked and portable mode), even in the most intense moments.
As for the resolution, here is the detail courtesy of the same channel:
Docked mode renders the game at a resolution of approximately 1344×756 and renders the UI at 1920×1080.
The portable mode renders the game at a resolution of approximately 960×540 and renders the UI at 1280×720.
It is important to note that the demo may not be fully representative of the final release, which will arrive on March 26 this year. How did you find the frame rate and resolution in the Monster Hunter Rise demo so far? Leave a comment below.
