Ellen DeGeneres looks miserable because lunch in Montecito didn’t show up

Two months after Ellen DeGeneres reveals that she fought the deadly corona virus, she is obviously ready to mix.

The 63-year-old talk show host appeared at noon sharp in the Upper Village of Montecito, California, for what was a lunch or coffee on Thursday.

After unsuccessfully combing the parking lot for her date, she used the Pierre LaFond & Co’s upstairs bathroom and got off the phone.

‘Ah, ok, ok, another time then, no, no problem,’ she was heard saying on her iPhone, trying to sound optimistic.

Ellen looked dejected after her lunchmate didn't show up at Montecito last Thursday. Despite being a model of the Cover Girl brand, Ellen released makeup for the casual encounter, wearing a face mask, messy short hair, a wrinkled blue linen shirt and matching pants.

The person on the other end obviously canceled, catching him off guard.

The Upper Village has many restaurants and a sophisticated cafeteria, so it is unclear where the meeting would take place.

Ellen was later seen walking alone several blocks back to her black Porsche Panamera and driving.

A Montecito resident told DailyMail.com ‘This is Ellen’s normal appearance when she’s here, not sophisticated. Nobody approaches her to pose for a photo or get an autograph, she doesn’t send that welcome vibe. ‘

Compare that to the reception that another famous Oprah Winfrey, 67, of Montecito, receives.

‘Oprah, on the other hand, makes people scream in cars, waving’ hi ‘, wanting hugs and selfies. It’s like the story of two talk show hosts. ‘

DailyMail.com revealed that Ellen’s image was a huge success last year, when it was revealed that behind the scenes she was nicknamed ‘bad’ and credited for creating a toxic ‘don’t look in her eyes’ workplace in her long run talk show.

Ellen reportedly apologized to her team and attributed much of her behavior to “being an introvert” and wanting her own space that may have been “misinterpreted” by her team.

“I am a multi-layered person and I try to be the best person I can and learn from my mistakes,” she said.

The negative press led to a decline in ratings for The Ellen Show, after dominating the market for nearly two decades.

In December, it was revealed that American Idol student Kelly Clarkson’s talk show in her sophomore year gained 10% to earn a Nielsen rating of 1.1 national for same-day live-plus.

That same month, Ellen’s talk show dropped 8% in ratings to 1.1, after the comedian hired Covid-19.
