Part of the Internet was not happy with Chrishell Stause for taking boyfriend and Dancing with the stars pro Keo Motsepe to meet your family at Christmas during a global pandemic.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention call on people to minimize the chances of spreading the coronavirus, avoiding encounters with those who do not live with them. This did not stop millions of people, including the couple, from ignoring the appeal, with some staying calm taking the COVID-19 tests before their celebrations and trips to see their loved ones after months of isolation.
Chrishell brought Keo to meet his two sisters and one of their spouses and children, who live near St. Louis, during the holiday and posted a photo of the group sitting together on a sofa wearing matching pajamas. The photo sparked criticism from some users, including one who wrote: “Stay tuned to your platform. It’s not good to show big family gatherings. Make others think it’s okay.” After the controversy, the 39-year-old man Selling Sunset star released a statement on Instagram.
“For those who mention Covid’s concerns, I understand and agree that it was not a good use of my platform,” wrote Chrishell, who lives and works in Los Angeles. “I usually always try to be socially responsible with my posts because I’m a naturally compassionate person. I can see how that doesn’t show it to some. I understand that you won’t agree, but at least so you can see where I’m coming from- This is my immediate family and we can all take the test before and after. “
