Chris Harrison may be taking legal action against the bachelor franchise

Since it was announced that Chris Harrison would step down, everyone at Bachelor Nation has been waiting to see what Harrison’s future with the ABC franchise would look like. Now that Matt James’ tumultuous season is finally over and the Bachelorettes have been revealed, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams have confirmed that they will co-host next season. With new hosts in place – and no mention of when Harrison can return to the franchise – things are looking less than promising for the longtime former host. But it looks like he won’t fall without a proper fight, like Page Six shared that Harrison recently introduced himself as a lawyer.

According to the vehicle, Harrison hired attorney Bryan Freedman, who they note is the same lawyer who represented Gabrielle Union in his recent dispute with America have talent on NBC. If you do not remember Union’s legal dispute with America have talent, here’s a quick recap: after allegedly complaining about toxic culture at NBC, Union was fired from her role as a guest judge. Shortly thereafter, she filed a complaint against several parties involved, alleging racist and misogynistic behavior.

Notably, it is interesting that Harrison hired Union’s lawyer in his viral interview with Rachel Lindsay and his advocacy of racism.

A friend of Harrison’s told Page Six: “Chris has an impeccable track record for 20 years … He has always been a good man at the company, but after the way he has been treated by producers and executives in recent weeks, he has run out of cheeks to turn. “They added,” Now he is ready to tell the truth about how things really work there – and he has a lot of evidence to support him. “

As of now, it is not clear what legal action Harrison is planning, although we imagine that hiring a lawyer could cause more confusion than if he had just quietly stepped back and did the job of educating himself that he said he was committed to.
