Bachelorette stars Dale Moss and Clare Crawley are taking a “monumental step” in their relationship.

The 39-year-old hairdresser – who found love with her 32-year-old fiance in the explosive first half of ABC’s hit show this season – was seen flexing her cosmetology skills by giving Moss her ‘last haircut of 2020’.

Sharing a photo of the duo at Clare’s former workplace, De Facto Salon in California, Moss was ready to enter a new year with a new look by trusting Crawley.

Moss posted a photo in his mirror sitting on the hairdresser’s chair in an apron and black jeans.

An anxious-looking Crawley was behind him in a pair of leggings and a white shirt with his razor in hand.

The former wide receiver and football model rested his hand on his hair as he grimaced.

He added the photo caption, ‘Today is a monumental step in @clarecrawley and my relationship. Her first time cutting my hair and my last haircut in 2020! #NewYearNewMe #winning. ‘

Sharing some behind-the-scenes footage of his story, he said to Clare: ‘You are making me nervous’, while joking that it could ‘turn into an argument’, as she said, ‘No, it would never turn into an argument’ while putting lovingly hand over it.

He wrote in the video that his ‘confidence level’ was ‘100’ while playing with getting his new cut.

Clare then moved on to the washing stage of the process while he made a reference to Beyoncé and called himself ‘Dalé with beautiful hair’.

The two spent the Christmas holiday in their hometown, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as Crawley said: ‘I pray that no matter what these parties are like for you this year, you will be able to share + feel the love regardless of the circumstances !, ‘when posting a snow kiss photo.

Speaking of her turbulent romance with People, she said: ‘This is the happiest time of my life. All [since] reaffirms even more why I chose it. ‘

Moss added: ‘We have love and we have the base and we can solve everything else. I got you just like you got me. ‘

Crawley fell head over heels for Dale in the early episodes of the season, making it clear that she had no interest in chasing any of the other men, which culminated in a quick proposal.

Tayshia Adams, 30, was introduced in the middle of the season as the new Bachelorette while Crawley congratulated her love journey after the end of last Tuesday:

“Everyone deserves so much, and I really hope she finds her person and starts an incredible love story.”
