Actress Shailene Woodley confirms engagement to Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers

Actress Shailene Woodley confirmed her engagement to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”, which aired on Monday.

Woodley, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role in the HBO drama series “Big Little Lies”, said she and Rodgers were engaged “a while ago”.

Rodgers, 37, mentioned his engagement and thanked the bride for accepting her third MVP award on February 6, but did not name her.

Woodley, 29, told Fallon that he had not yet attended one of Rodgers’ games because of the pandemic, and she acknowledged that while growing up, sports were never really on her “radar”.

“When we first met, too, I knew he was a football guy, but I didn’t know what kind of guy he was,” explained Woodley. “And I am still learning constantly.”

Commenting on Rodgers’ football talent, she continued, “I don’t understand. He’s good. He’s great. But, like, I don’t understand. Because I don’t know him as a football guy. I know him as the nerd you want to host ‘Jeopardy!’ This is the guy I know. “

Rodgers revealed last month that he was invited to host an episode of his favorite game show – in which he appeared in a celebrity edition in 2015.
