Abigail Breslin called on her fans to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and just ‘wear their shit masks’.
The 24-year-old Little Miss Sunshine star revealed on Wednesday that her father Michael is battling the relentless Coronavirus in a hospital respirator while she called for “prayers and positivity”.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, she exposed her complaints to those who continue to disrespect the order of wearing the mask, while she tried to make her 527,000 followers aware of the seriousness of the situation, while revealing that her father currently ‘is not conscious’

A frustrated plea: Abigail Breslin, 24, pleads with her followers to ‘wear her mask’ after revealing that her father Michael is fighting COVID-19 on a hospital respirator and ‘is not conscious’

Take it seriously: Little Miss Sunshine’s emerging star added that her father would say wearing a mask is ‘much less uncomfortable than a respirator’
– It is me saying that if you asked my father: a mask is MUCH less uncomfortable than a respirator. So stfu. And use your d * mn mask. Please. No one should go through this, ‘she wrote in an Instagram post.
She continued to engage with concerned fans on Twitter as they checked on her and asked for updates.
One user wrote: ‘Just seeing how your father is doing. I hope he’s better ‘, to which she replied’ thank you! It is not much to update it, but we are more hopeful every day. Thanks for checking. ‘
Peter Pan’s star Jeremy Sumpter shared his frustration at seeing people outside without covering their faces as he wrote: ‘some people have no sense … it disgusts me’.

Updates: responding to a concerned fan who was checking on her father, she said: ‘There’s not much to update him, but we are more hopeful every day’

Shared frustration: Peter Pan’s star tweeted that he was just as frustrated with those who refused to wear masks as he said “some people just don’t make any sense”
Breslin replied: ‘I agree. I’m glad you understand that. Hopefully, more and more people will respect the situation in question and start to act accordingly. ‘
She tragically revealed in a tweet on Friday, that her father (who remains elusive on his social media) ‘is not aware’, although she said she still calls to talk to him.
‘I’m so used to talking to my father several times a day. I still call and talk to him thanks to the AMAZING nurses who work so hard and make sure he can hear me, even if he is not conscious. I can’t wait to hear your voice again. I love you dad. ‘
The Oscar nominee first shared news of her father’s battle on Wednesday, with a post that read:
‘Hi guys. Unfortunately, this post is not what I thought I would have to do. I am asking for prayers and positivity sent in this way to my father, Michael, who tested positive for COVID-19 and this morning had to be put on a respirator.

Send prayers: the Oscar-nominated actress didn’t seem to believe she was writing to tell her 527,000 followers that her father’s Coronavirus positive case had gotten so severe that he had to be put on a respirator

The 24-year-old New Yorker wrote: ‘My father, Michael, tested positive for COVID-19 and this morning it had to be put on a respirator … I have faith that things will change anytime’
“We remain optimistic and we know that he is being very well taken care of. I am extremely grateful to the nurses and doctors who are working hard to ensure that it combats this virus. I have faith that things will change at any moment, but in the meantime, keep wearing your masks and follow the COVID protocol. ‘
Despite the launch of an aggressive vaccine in recent weeks, until Saturday, there were a total of 27.6 million confirmed cases in the United States and an astonishing 484,000 deaths.
To make matters worse, Breslin has defended himself from social media trolls left and right since sharing the difficult family news.
Shooting insensitive and uneducated nature at some of the posts she was fighting for, she fired back:
‘Okay, new rule: if you don’t believe in wearing a mask / want to try to quote me why Covid is not real / want to be an idiot in general … please stop following me. And stop saying anything to me. Nice? Great.’

It could be? Before Wednesday, Breslin never posted about his elusive patriarch (he may be the man portrayed here in 2016), who is supposed to be a telecommunications expert
