Nissan has a new teaser site ahead of the debut of two models. Although the company does not specifically identify them, it is quite clear that they are Pathfinder’s next-generation crossover and Frontier pickup. They debuted on February 4, 2021, at 1 pm EST.
Although the teaser site doesn’t tell us anything about them, spy shots and rumors fill some of the gaps about these new vehicles. So far, Nissan has kept Pathfinder development vehicles under heavy camouflage, but the rendering below removes some of the coverage. The new front end has similarities in style with the recently revamped Armada, like the racing lights in the form of support and thicker V section in the grille.
The renovated interior includes a larger infotainment screen with a strip of buttons below it. The center console has a shift-by-wire shift lever and electronic parking brake.
Mechanically, the new Pathfinder reportedly shares its platform with Altima and Maxima. AN the nine-speed automatic gearbox can replace the existing model’s CVT. Under the hood, the crossover can adopt the Altima’s 2.0-liter turbo variable compression engine.

During the launch of the Navara pickup for South America, the company possibly displayed the new Frontier (above). It is the truck in the middle between the Titan and Navara.
Assuming this image is accurate, the new Frontier has a square face with rectangular headlights and a blocky grid. Even the fog lamps have a tiny rectangular shape as a way to accentuate this motif even more.

Spy photos from the Frontier cabin (in the gallery above) show a new infotainment system. The four-wheel drive system controller is in the center stack and includes 2WD, 4WD Hi and 4WD Low configurations.
Under the hood is the 3.8-liter 2020 Frontier V6 that currently produces 310 horsepower (231 kilowatts) and 281 pound-feet (381 Newton-meters) of torque. The truck comes with a nine-speed automatic.
