Jade Jules, 27, spotted ‘1F’ had been written in the snow roof the lid of a black can outside his home on January 12th.

Hundreds of companions TikTokers explained how the ‘1F’ sign is often drawn by gang members outside the homes of single women who live alone.
Supposedly, it lets other gang members who work in the area know that a woman is an easy target for crimes like robberies, sex trafficking and rape.
Jade, a student at St John’s in Newfoundland, Canada, reported the symbol to the police, who confirmed the suspicions of social media users.
Feeling ‘terrified’, she then fled to the safety of her mother’s home.
Jade said: “My followers definitely saved my life.
“I was just going to put out the trash and that’s when I saw it. I took my phone, recorded it and posted it on TikTok because I had no idea what that meant.
“I thought people TikTok would know and help me, what they did. I am very grateful to everyone who helped me.
one year ago“I was terrified. I thought someone did it as a joke or something, but then all the comments and messages came, so my mom came to get me. I packed up a few things and haven’t come home since.
“She really is going to live with me in that house, so we are planning to return later this week.
“It has been very spooky, I haven’t come home since then, because I’m terrified. I have no idea who did it or why they did it, but I did everything I could.
“I called the police, took the writing and left the house. I bought cameras for House, I don’t know what else to do.
“The police couldn’t do anything because there were no suspects and I had no idea who or what it was, so they just cleaned up the garbage and told me to be safe and if I could go out for a few days to do that, then this is What did I do.“
She added: “People in the comments on my videos say it means a woman. Apparently is used for kidnapping and sex trafficking and break-ins. I’m not sure what that means in my situation, but if all of this is true, I’m afraid of what could have happened.
“I am very grateful for everyone who commented and sent me messages saying to be safe and careful and not to post my whereabouts. My followers really saved me.”
