Steph Curry and Draymond Green are in sync when they share the basketball court.
Their chemistry is outstanding.
So it makes perfect sense why the Warriors’ technical team wants their minutes to overlap as much as possible.
“Steph and Draymond will play the first and the third [quarters]”Steve Kerr said to Tim Kawakami of The Athletic on the podcast” The TK Show “.
“Steph – how many times have we seen this over the years, where he closes the room with three consecutive 3s. You still have to take half-court shots into account. If someone is going to shoot half-court, I want to be Steph Curry. Those three points can be very important.
“So we go into every game knowing that we want to end each quarter with Steph and Draymond.”

This topic was discussed in the context of Curry starting almost every fourth quarter on the bench, and how Kerr decides when to put the NBA twice MVP back in the game.
So while some have dismissed the idea of adjusting things a bit – like making Curry go to the bench with two or three minutes left in the third quarter so he can be reinserted at the start of the fourth – it doesn’t seem like you should expect that to happen .
