After six years of marriage and more than eight years together, E! reality show star and rapper are following separate paths. Kim, however, has not yet filed for divorce.
Kimye, who disclosed his relationship in April 2012, shares four children, Northwest, 7, Saint West, 5, Chicago West, 2, and West Psalm, 20 months.
“It got to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a couple in months,” a source told E! News exclusively. “They’ve seen each other because of their children, but they live apart. Kim knows the marriage is over. She has known each other for a while.”
So why didn’t Kim make the separation official? Our source noted, “She wants to make sure she is making the right decision for children.”
The source adds: “It’s not about the wedding anymore, she will always take care of Kanye, but it is all over between them. Kim is just focused on what is best for the children. It is a difficult decision for her and she is finding out.”
