Wendy Williams ended the accusations made by her own brother that she missed her mother’s funeral to have lunch with her ex-husband and son.

Tommy Williams recently accused his sister Wendy of meeting his ex Kevin Hunter and son Kevin Jr. instead of attending his mother Shirley’s funeral.

Shirley died at the age of 83 in December 2020, and Wendy took a three-week break from filming the show to mourn the loss.

But in Tuesday’s episode of her eponymous talk show, Wendy countered her brother’s accusations, insisted that she was indeed present at “religious service” and accused her brother of even starting a fight at the funeral.

– Tommy, you know I was in Mom’s service. And you know that she looked beautiful in her coffin. And you know that you fought with a loving member of our family, half your age … a blood relative of all, not my son.

Tuesday’s episode marked the second time Wendy broached the sensitive subject.

On Monday, the hostess did not restrain herself while she threatened to unload all the ‘receipts’ she had from her brother.

In videos posted to his YouTube account, Wendy’s brother Tommy claimed that the talk show host disappointed his father by not attending his mother’s funeral and meeting his ex and son for lunch instead.
