We’ll have to wait for Part 2 for Final Fantasy VII Remake to support the PS5 feature ‘from scratch’

It is ‘partial’ support now

It is still the beginning for the development of the PS5.

The studios are still figuring things out and, as such, “full use of the PS5”, as it has come to be known, is not yet going to happen for all games. Square Enix confirmed to speak to Famitsu recently that this will apply to the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

When the remake hits PS5 in a few months, it will only offer “partial” PS5 support. Tetsuya Nomura, co-director of the first part, says: “As for the adaptive triggers, they are partially supported. However, in terms of using all the features of the PlayStation 5, wait for the next game where we can start from scratch.”

Nomura continues to set expectations, explaining that the photo mode in the PS5 version is simpler in nature and “different from Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind“photo mode, which is more expansive. In other words, you cannot change the poses or expressions of the group members. He does, however, state that you can use the” immediately “mode without any esoteric unlocking requirements.

It’s all about giving and receiving, right? The PS5’s features are cool and all, but I don’t fully expect them from all games, let alone a door. However, it can affect your perception, if you expected Square Enix to do it all out.
