Watch the new video for ‘Southside Forever Freestyle’ by Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion released the new song “Southside Forever Freestyle” along with an accompanying video. “Congratulations to me, #MeganMonday”, the rapper, who is celebrating his 26th birthday today, captions an Instagram post sharing the clip

In the look directed by Mike Ho, Megan Thee Stallion pays homage to her hometown, Houston, both in music and through her costume. Wearing a Houston Rockets hat and bikini, she talks about the beats of longtime producers Juicy J and LilJuMadeDaBeat. “Please, bitch, don’t try to limit yourself / As if I’m not the hottest naturally,” she sings. “I go anywhere with my shirt and chain, ho, killing shit casually / As if I’m not the hardest in Houston.”

Last week, she joined Ariana Grande and Doja Cat for the remix of Grande’s “34 + 35” video. Earlier this month, she abandoned the look of “Cry Baby” with DaBaby from her first studio album Good news, which arrived in November, and in January she shared a remix of the LP “Body”, assisted by Joel Corry. Megan Thee Stallion’s Good news followed his EP, Suga, from the beginning of 2020.
