The clip shows a person who points out Aniston’s “vocal tic” playing Rachel Green and warns viewers that, as soon as they realize, “it will ruin your life”
“Jennifer Aniston has that kind of vocal tic that she has at the beginning of each sentence that begins,” says the TikTok narrator. “It is very specific and very difficult to miss when you see it.”
But for those who are reveling in their new knowledge of “Friends”, Twitter will be there for you.
Jennifer Aniston’s throat clearing is so strong that it takes people more than 25 years to notice. People are terrible.

Omg, anyone who knows friends knows what is now called tic. This is a click bait. The TikTok user discovers Jennifer Aniston’s verbal tic in ‘Friends’ – fans think it’s part of her acting! https://t.co/vfsPkM40Fw

I’m not even a fan of “Friends” and I can say that it is not a tick of Jennifer Aniston’s vocal, it is a tick of Rachel. Watch Jennifer in interviews and she doesn’t.
People are really silly. pic.twitter.com/9oJNirh4hP

More fake news. That “verbal tic” that Jennifer Aniston has in Friends? Yes, no, this is called acting. She clears her throat when her character is uncomfortable with what she is saying (because it is a lie, or a stranger, etc.).
This is what acting means.

The vast majority of lines are said without that little cough, exactly because most of the time Rachel is happy with what she is saying.
