[VIDEO] ‘Big Sky’ Season 1, Episode 6: Cassie and Legarski Shooting

Cassie Dewell was the undisputed heroine of Big skythe late fall of … so why is she suddenly being treated as suspect # 1?

That’s the question at the center of this exclusive peek at Tuesday’s winter premiere (ABC, 10/9c), which finds Cassie in Sheriff Tubb’s office answering questions about the murder of Officer Rick Legarski.

Kylie Bunbury’s character looks a little shaken – naturally – as Tubb pressures her for what happened after she discovered Legarski hiding Grace, Jerrie and Danielle at All In Bar. But we really don’t like the way the interrogation is going at the end of sneak peek, particularly as Tubb seems fixed on the notion that the dishonest state policeman had not drawn his weapon at the time of the shooting.

An important note: although we assume that the sex trafficker did not survive the bullet that Cassie fired into his skull, at no point in the clip will either verify that Big Rick is dead. And John Carroll Lynch wouldn’t do that either when TVLine spoke to him after the episode aired. Are we paranoid? Probably. Will we feel much better when we see Legarski’s corpse being removed from the All In Bar? Definitely.
