Vaccine markings marked in Riverside County

Riverside County has made more consultations available to residents eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

The county made more than 11,000 additional consultations available at all RUHS public health clinics from January 19 to 22. You can register at ruhealth.org/covid-19-vaccine.

Seniors who need help registering can call 2-1-1. The county announced that it has improved these phone lines to help as many residents as possible.

In Riverside County, people 65 and older can receive their coronavirus vaccine, along with adults of all ages, if they work in education, law enforcement, food and agriculture and emergency services.

This group constitutes Phase 1B of the county’s vaccine distribution structure. People at all levels of Phase 1A can also be vaccinated.

  • For employees in Phase 1A and 1B – Level 1, an appointment and a badge / letter of identification from the workplace employee are required or you will not be vaccinated
  • For people over 65, a consultation and identity document is required.

Having trouble programming a COVID vaccine in Riverside County? Here’s what you should know

Clinics will provide vaccines free of charge, however, you must register prior to arrival, make an appointment and provide proof of eligibility (badge, business ID, employer proof). Medical insurance information will be requested.

The county has partnered with local Albertsons and Ralphs to distribute the vaccination. However, a representative for Albertsons told News Channel 3 the grocer is no longer scheduling vaccinations at his stores in Riverside County because they are full by the end of January.
