UFC fans are patiently awaiting the fight between champion Kamaru Usman and challenger Gilbert Burns, with the fight scheduled to have already been canceled twice. That patience will be worth it on Saturday, as the time has finally come for the pair to finally fight for the welterweight championship when they face off in the main fight at UFC 258, with the fight being the main attraction of UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Usman will make the third defense of the belt he won from Tyron Woodley in March 2019, and is putting together a 16-game winning streak that includes title defense wins over Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. In Burns, Usman faces a former teammate who won six consecutive fights to win his shot at the title.

In the main co-fight of the night, Maycee Barber and Alexa Grasso face off in a battle to improve their position in the women’s flyweight division.
