Amigo becomes enemy on Saturday night (February 13, 2021) when the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion, Kamaru Usman, defends his title against American Top Team teammate Gilbert Burns, in the main event of UFC 258, which will take place live on ESPN + pay-per-view (PPV) from inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Early in the evening, Alexa Grasso tries to spoil candidate Maycee Barber’s return and bantamweight strikers Andre Ewell and Chris Gutierrez take action in the short term to fill a spot on the main card.

What went wrong in UFC Vegas 18?
You can look at this … we are really in the picture! Although I underestimated Seung Woo Choi and Alexander Volkov, Timur Valiev, Lara Procopio and Alexandre Pantoja, they all managed to make a profitable event. Although Cody Stamann’s departure at the last minute neutralized the victory a little, I will accept whatever I can.

Thoughts: It is not the most fertile business field I have ever seen, but there is value to be found in Bobby Green, Belal Muhammad and Miranda Maverick.
A slender striker with excellent takedown defense is essentially the ideal archetype for defeating Jim Miller, even with the recent return of “A-10” to good form. As fearsome as Miller may be in a superior position, he will have all kinds of problems to really put Green on the ground and keep him there, and Green’s boxing looks more effective than Miller’s Muay Thai at this stage. Green’s expansion and fighting efforts should have earned him the victory against Thiago Moises and they will really do that against Miller, so bet accordingly.
I will be very surprised if Belal Muhammad doesn’t run over Dhiego Lima. Lima has shown some improvements lately, but Muhammad has the tools to exploit the shaky defense and bad wrestling that cost Lima’s victory over and over again. “Remember the Name ”’s victory over Tim Means proved that he can handle heights and also achieve disadvantage, severely limiting Lima’s victory paths.
In short, go ahead with Muhammad.
Analyzing a Gillian Robertson fight can often boil down to a Boolean equation. If she can knock down reliably, she wins. If she can’t, she loses. Maverick, a powerful fighter who apparently overcame her early problems with her takedown defense, is much more effective on feet than “The Savage” and figures to dictate any fight exchange, making it a reliable investment.
Just to alleviate the FOMO I received for not recommending bets on Julianna Pena and Clay Guida, despite successfully calling the surprises, try a little on Gabe Green too. Philip Rowe is a fighter with serious flaws and, although the same can be said about Green, “Gifted” has the volume and power to relentlessly exploit Rowe’s defensive lapses.

Kelvin Gastelum (-230) vs. Ian Heinisch (+190)
Chris Gutierrez (-155) against Andre Ewell (+125)

Thoughts: As someone who enjoys watching Andre Ewell exercise his craft, Chris Gutierrez should be favored even more than -155. “Sir. Highlight” has not yet truly dominated a fight in the octagon. In fact, Ewell deserved defeat by Jonathan Martinez and only managed split decisions against Renan Barao’s damaged shell and an under-qualified Irwin Rivera. In other words, Gutierrez will tear it to the feet.
UFC 258 best bets:
- Parlay – Belal Muhammad and Miranda Maverick: Bet $ 60 to win $ 68.40
- Parlay – Bobby Green and Chris Gutierrez: Bet $ 70 to win $ 89.60
- Parlay – Belal Muhammad and Gabe Green: Bet $ 50 to win $ 59
