Graham said that Trump is still putting together a legal team, but that Bowers would act as the “anchor”.
“I think [Trump’s] going to have a good [legal team]”Said Graham. “I think Butch Bowers will be the anchor tenant. I’ve known Butch for a long time, solid guy. And I think, you know, over time, they’ll build the team. “
Bowers did not respond to a request for comment nor did Trump’s representatives.
The House voted on January 13 to impeach Trump for the second time during his term. The article accuses him of inciting insurrection after a crowd of his supporters seized the US Capitol building on January 6 in an attempt to prevent the electoral college votes from counting.
