President Donald Trump considered joining the alternative Twitter Parler, using the pseudonym “Person X, ”Before it closes, according to the CEO of the conservative social media platform.

Parler closed on Sunday after The web services division of Amazon.com Inc. halted the process, saying the social network was unable to crack down on posts that promoted violence. Twitter Inc., Facebook Inc. and YouTube suspended Trump’s accounts after last week’s United States Capitol riot.

Amazon Network Service learned on October 11 that Trump planned to join Parler, said site CEO John Matze Jr.

In a lawsuit on Wednesday supporting Parler’s request for a judge to order Amazon to reinstate the service, Matze said he believed Parler was prevented from denying Trump a platform on any major social media site.
