Tony Buzbee says 12 women are suing Deshaun Watson

Tony Buzbee, the renowned Texas attorney who filed seven lawsuits on behalf of Jane Does, alleging sexual assault against NFL star Deshaun Watson, said on Friday that he now represents a total of 12 women and spoke with 10 others about complaints against the Texans quarterback.

Buzbee also said that Watson’s alleged conduct took place “later this month” and that he was contacted by the Houston Police Department. Buzbee had no contact with the Texans.

Watson, 25, publicly denied the first allegation and hired his own high-profile lawyer at Rusty Hardin – who managed to get Roger Clemens acquitted in 2012 after the pitcher was accused of lying to Congress when he denied using drugs to improve the performance. Watson’s agent, David Mulugheta, responded to the charges on Friday.

“Sexual assault is real. Victims must be heard, offenders prosecuted, ”wrote Mulugheta on Twitter. “People often make up stories in search of financial gain. Its victims must be heard and criminals also prosecuted. I simply hope that we will maintain that same energy with the truth. “
