The number of lawsuits against Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson now stands at 20.
After three days of relative silence over the controversy over allegations that Watson committed misconduct while receiving massages, lawyer Tony Buzbee announced on social media that the total number of complaints has increased by four, out of 16.
“Today we filed suit number twenty against Deshaun Watson,” said Buzbee late on Friday. “Voices will be heard. These cases will be resolved in court ”.
Buzbee’s statement implies that all efforts to resolve these complaints will be rejected and that all 20 cases will be tried.
Via Aaron Wilson’s Houston Chronicle, the four new cases have has not yet been posted on the Harris County courthouse website. Buzbee said he and his company can open at least 24 cases.
Watson denied any wrongdoing, either directly or through his lawyer, Rusty Hardin.
