‘Tomb Raider’ sequel sets Misha Green to write, straight

The creator of ‘Lovecraft Country’ will oversee Alicia Vikander’s next departure as Lara Croft for MGM.

Misha Green is making the leap towards the feature film direction with the next tomb Raider movie. O Lovecraft Country creator will write and direct the project for MGM, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

In addition to creating Lovecraft Country, the HBO hit she produced executive with JJ Abrams and Jordan Peele, Green is known for WGN’s Underground. She also worked on FX’s Sons of Anarchy and wrote and is producing action film The mother for Netflix.
