Tom Brady trolls Chase Young from Washington in exchange for shirt: ‘Go Blue!’

As Tom Brady prepares to face Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in Sunday’s game, he kept a promise to Washington Football Team rookie Chase Young.

After losing 31-23 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a wild card game, Young approached Brady on the field and asked for a shirt change.

“I need you to take this off of yourself,” said Young, pointing to the iconic shirt 12. “I’ll take it for you,” replied Brady.

Young accessed Instagram on Saturday to show that Brady did indeed send him an autographed shirt, but the future Hall of Fame also left a message chasing Young for calling him before the playoff game.

“Best of luck!” he wrote before adding “Go Blue”, referring to his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

Brady said earlier that Young, who played for Ohio State, was caught up in the rivalry when he called Brady after winning his first division title.

“He’s obviously a great young player … He went to Ohio state, so I think this Ohio state thing with Michigan has worn him out a bit.”

Brady will face Brees in the NFC Divisional Round Game on Sunday, in what many say could be the final showdown.
