After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ victory over the Washington Football Team last weekend, rookie Chase Young and Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady met in the middle of the field to exchange greetings and best wishes. Young called Brady GOAT and asked the 43-year-old man a favor: send him his shirt.

This conversation was captured through the microphone feature of which NFL teams have some of their players in the form of placing microphones on their pads.

It turns out that Brady kept his promise to the rookie in Washington and even had a little fun donating the shirt with his signature. In addition to addressing the defender and saying “BEST OF LUCK!” he added a cheeky “GO BLUE!” referencing the rivalry, admittedly unilateral in recent years, between Michigan (where Brady studied) and the state of Ohio (where Young went to school).

At the end of Washington’s regular season game, Young was caught on camera shouting “I WANT BRADY” as he jumped his way into the tunnel after his team won a playoff spot. Although he was unable to engage the quarterback and take him down in the game, he was able to achieve something almost as good: a worn shirt from a quarterback that he considers the greatest of all time. It is not a bad substitute.
