Here’s what’s going on in the television world on Sunday, February 28th. All times are from the east.
Best choice
78th Annual Golden Globe (NBC, 8:00 pm): Amy and Tina are back this year, which is great news for the Golden Globe, as there is a chance that their experience will offset at least a little bit every not that good thing. But even their hosting functions will not look as familiar, as they will be broadcasting from different shores. At least are they definitely more than two meters apart?
Still, Globes are really Globes if no one take off your shoes while holding a martini on stage? We will discuss this and many other important issues on our live blog. Join Danette Chavez, Shannon Miller and Katie Rife for their coverage from 8pm
Regular coverage
American gods (Starz, 8pm)
Living Dead (AMC, 9:00 pm): Season 10 premiere
G / O Media can receive a commission
Wild card
Last week tonight with John Oliver (HBO, 11pm): It’s been a busy week – and sure enough, well, every week has been a busy week for many, many weeks, but it’s still true. This week, we look forward to hearing what John has to say about the state of his emptiness and the demise of the minimum wage plan, although we may be able to get a part two on the refrigerator industry. That would also be good.
