Joe Biden will host a virtual opening show this week, and he is expected to invite many guests, including TikTok star Nathan “Doggface” Apodaca.

TMZ reports that Apodaca, which went viral with its charming TikTok video set in Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” last year, will be among the number of Americans featured in the parade. Sources who worked on the opening parade say they asked Apodaca to come in because of how pleasant their viral moment was, bringing joy to people around the world at a time that was anything but joyful for most people.

Biden’s team was reportedly delighted with Apodaca’s reaction to his viral fame, which has been relatively quiet and humble. The team wanted to include his skateboard in the celebration, and he reportedly already recorded something for the event from his home in Idaho Falls. It remains to be seen what other guests will appear for the parade, but it is expected that there will be some big names.

Unlike much of America, Apodaca had a relatively good 2020 year. When his clip went viral, Ocean Spray presented him with a new truck fueled with Ocean Spray products. It became an overnight sensation and later put together a selection of songs for Tidal’s “Songs To Skate To” playlist, featuring “Dreams” and numerous other great tracks. Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID-19 last month, but it looks like he’s already recovered.
