Samsung is working hard to bring One UI 3 to its smartphone line and has only recently released the update for the Galaxy S10 series. Unfortunately, it seems that the company had some serious problems with the firmware based on Android 11, since it has since withdrawn the release – its OTA servers point to the latest One UI 2.5 version again. As SamMobile reports, owners complain about blurry photos and devices that heat up.

The Android 11 update was originally released for the Galaxy S10e and S10 5G in Switzerland and, a little later, in India, weighing in at around 1.8 GB and coming with the January security patch.

If you’re stuck on the buggy version of Android 11, you may have to wait a while until Samsung makes a correction. When one is available, you can try using the Samsung Smart Switch PC application to get the new firmware as soon as possible. There is no guarantee that it will work, but if you are impatient to get a functional camera and a cooler device again, it is worth a try.

So far, Samsung has done a good job of launching One UI 3.0 for its devices, and this is the biggest problem with the Android 11 update we’ve heard so far. Let’s hope the company gets a fix in a timely manner and resumes the release of One UI 3.0 in a timely manner – Samsung has beaten most of its competition so far, in addition to improving the Android 10 timeline of last year.

We will keep this page updated when One UI 3 is released again, as well as the normal S10 and S10 +.
