Kimiai told the San Francisco Police Department, through his lawyer, that he plans to surrender soon.

“We are happy to hear that Ms. Kimiai intends to do the right thing and surrender to the nearest law enforcement agency, and we hope that will happen immediately,” Lieutenant Tracy McCray, head of the San Francisco Robbery Police Department. , said Thursday.
