The parent company of Rockstar Games finally responds to rumors and speculation

Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive has finally responded to GTA 6 rumors and speculation. Unfortunately, its response is at the limit of non-response. At the time of publication, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have yet to confirm or disconfirm the new installment of the Grand Theft Auto series and, at the moment, there is no indication that this will change anytime soon.

A few days ago, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, attended Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference. And as you might expect, an investor took the opportunity to ask about GTA 6and, more specifically, when it could be released.

In response to this curious investor, Zelnick noted that Rockstar Games has not announced any new games for the market. Also, when the time comes for Rockstar to announce a new game, it will come in the way of Rockstar, not Zelnick.

“Okay, so, Rockstar has not announced any new titles for the market and when there is an announcement to be made, it will come from Rockstar, so I’ll probably leave it there and I think you didn’t expect anything more,” said the CEO of Take-Two Interactive.

Unfortunately, that’s all Zelnick had to say in response to the question. However, as some Grand Theft Auto fans have pointed out, Zelnick did not openly deny the game’s existence when asked when it could be released. Of course, that means nothing, at least of the consequences, but he could have confirmed that he wasn’t in development if he weren’t. At this point, it is safe to assume that the game is in development, but for now, this lack of confirmation should not be taken as a confirmation that it is in development, but it is certainly worth noting.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has not yet been announced, but is believed to be in development for PS5, Xbox Series X and possibly PC. For more coverage on the game – including all the latest news, rumors, leaks and speculation – click here or check out the relevant links below:
