Trump ‘beyond anger’ at the impeachment advocacy team’s display: sources
Former President Trump was “furious” and “beyond angry” at his defense team’s performance on the first day of his second impeachment trial, although his acquittal is almost certain, two sources told Fox News on Tuesday. market.
The sources, who spent some time with Trump, said he was particularly irritated by the effort so far made by his lawyer Bruce Castor. Biden AG chooses Merrick Garland to face Senate panel hearings next week
Confirmation hearings were scheduled for February 22 and 23 for Merrick Garland, President Biden’s candidate for the United States attorney general, according to reports.
Garland will appear on the Senate Judiciary Committee in hopes of obtaining confirmation for the office of Cabinet, which is the leadership position of the United States Department of Justice.
The schedule takes a likely confirmation vote on Garland’s appointment for March 1, Politico reported, noting that Judiciary Committee chairman Dick Durbin, D-Ill., And ranking member Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, agreed with the schedule.

Biden was overtaken by Germany’s Merkel, said former Trump intelligence chief
