We’re a few months away from the launch of the OnePlus 9 series, but we’ve heard a lot about it. We recently learned that the 9 and 9 Pro can be accompanied by a third member, the OnePlus 9 Lite equipped with Snapdragon 865. Now, a new leak sheds more light on the OnePlus 9 vanilla.
According to a 91mobiles, the phone may be the first non-Pro on the company’s line to support wireless charging – 30 W yet. If true, this will be a similar implementation to the OnePlus 8 Pro’s Warp Charge 30 Wireless.
In addition, the 9 (along with the 9 Pro) is also considered the first OnePlus phone to support reverse wireless charging. An alleged image (see above) of the device appears to show a corresponding toggle. For what it’s worth, none of the current OnePlus accessories supports wireless charging. What’s more, the phone supposedly has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 65 W wired charging, similar to the OnePlus 8T.
Finally, another image (see above) reveals that the OnePlus 9 screen has no curves. This information corroborates a previous leak that also showed supposed images from the phone. If you have a curved screen, you can be happy to know that the OnePlus 9 Pro screen cannot lose its curves.
