The New York video captures the moments before Cuomo’s employee was attacked with concrete blocks

The video shows a homeless man approaching an employee of the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, moments before he allegedly hit his head with a concrete block near a construction site in New York.

The video, obtained by the Post, shows a man following a woman and lifting a piece of concrete over his head. Then he runs to her.

The attack knocked Cavanaugh unconscious with a five-inch-deep wound, and she needed stitches, according to the report. She must survive.

“Lisa is a valued member of Team Cuomo and we have been in constant contact with her and her family to ensure she has everything she needs for her recovery,” Richard Azzopardi, senior adviser to the governor, told Fox News via email Friday -market. “We thank the NYPD for its quick work in arresting the person they believe attacked him.”

Cavanaugh works for the governor’s office doing recruiting and appointments, according to his LinkedIn profile. The governor’s offices in the city are just a few blocks from where the attack took place.

It is not the first time that one of Cuomo’s employees has been the victim of a violent crime in the city.

Carey Gabay, a former governor’s lawyer, was hit in the head and killed by a stray bullet during an alleged gang shootout at a Brooklyn festival called J’Ouvert in 2015.
