The Mario 35 event, which awards 350 Platinum Points for little effort, is live

It should only take 10 minutes at most

Super Mario Bros. 35 is still in transit, moving closer and closer to its expiration date. But before that, Nintendo has a small quick event reserved for us.

The challenge? Kill 3.5 million Bowsers from 11 pm PT on January 18 to 10:59 pm PT on January 25. Or more simply, you only need to kill a Bowser to get a potential reward of 350 Platinum Points (which can be used in physical or digital products on My Nintendo).

You can defeat your Bowser in standard mode or in the new event; which I highly recommend, as it aims to find Bowser faster. I ran the event several times, and as you start with a Flower of Fire, you can eliminate Bowser quickly if you come across one (either at the level of a castle or through someone sending it as a danger).

Just to be sure, I took a few courses and eliminated about five Bowsers over approximately 10 minutes. Is easy! If you have the Switch Online, you will have Mario 35, then you can also dive, make and (probably) reap the benefit of 350 platinum.

Since these events can be a little painstaking at times in terms of timelines, we’ve provided the official documentation below to make sure. Make a reminder to do this! It is one of the simplest ways to get platinum, which you can use in things like this.
