  • Renderings that allegedly show the unannounced Google Pixel 5a have hit the Internet.
  • The phone looks almost identical to the old Pixel 4a 5G.
  • There is no news when this phone will be released.

Google launched the Pixel 5 smartphone in the fall of 2020, so we’re wondering if a Pixel 5a might be in development. Tonight, the well-known Internet device hijacker Steve “OnLeaks” Hemmerstoffer posted some information on the phone from his sources, along with images he claims show renderings of the Google Pixel 5a.

The renderings show a phone that, in terms of design and size, looks almost exactly like the old Pixel 4a 5G. The post states that it will have a 6.2-inch flat FHD + OLED screen. Your front camera is placed in the upper left corner. The bezels are quite thin, but not as thin as the latest generation smartphones. Check out more images below.

The phone may still have some rewind features that may or may not appeal to some users. The story states that it will have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a rear fingerprint sensor. It will also have stereo speakers.

The Pixel 5a’s renders also show a square rear camera overhang with two unknown sensors, along with a flash. There is also something else in the collision that the informant claims to be a Phase detection autofocus sensor (PDAF).

There are no details on the other important hardware specifications, including the phone’s processor, RAM, storage and battery size.

There is also no news of when the Pixel 5a could be released. Considering that the Pixel 4a was announced in August 2020 and the 5G version launched in October 2020, we may have to wait at least a few months for this new Google Pixel phone to hit the market.
