Last month, three skills appeared mysteriously at the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but only if you disconnected the console from the Internet. These skills are now officially available, included in the the game patch 1.1.2, available today for all platforms.
The massive 1.1.2 update (it’s 10 GB on PlayStation 4, 19.5 GB on Xbox Series X and S) adds Fight Ready, Arrow Looter and Assassin Carry skills to Valhallacomplex skill tree of. They are accompanied by three other skills: Long Ship Brace and Power Stroke improve your skills while on the boat, while Assassin Slide allows you to slide while running – and allows you to do this on enemies – as if Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it was no longer enough.
In addition to these six skills, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also receives three new skills. Shoulder Bash sounds a lot like a generic, yet powerful, hand-to-hand combat skill. Battle Cry increases its attack power and causes nearby enemies to stumble in fear. But the coolest new one is Berserker Trap, which allows you to use your bow and arrow to shoot traps that release a cloud of hallucinatory toxins.
Today we also see the addition of ValhallaRiver Raids early mode, allowing replayable raids. Those who enjoy the various forays into the main game – miniature objectives in which you gather your crew and plunder a fortified site, usually a monastery – are sure to have fun. (I’m currently downloading the patch and will report if River Raids is something to write home about.)

The patch also offers fixes for several broken missions. For example, that boss in “Extended Family” will no longer be stuck on the walls. You will also be able to move that box in “Blood From a Stone”. I’ve never heard of this, and it has nothing to do with a specific mission, but today’s patch “addresses a problem that caused all members of the Order to be killed after killing a Zealot”. To be honest, I would like that one to remain untouched. That could have saved me a lot of time hunting the rest of the Order!
And, of course, today’s patch brings needed “performance and stability” improvements. Unfortunately, still no word on custom uploads.
