- A video leak demonstrated the One UI 3.1 capabilities of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
- This includes support for S Pen for a long time.
- The camera features have received some particularly notable updates.
You may not have to wonder what One UI 3.1 will bring to the Galaxy S21 family – a leak may have shown it all. GSMArena reports that Jimmy is Promo shared a video illustrating many of the features of One UI 3.1, including the often talked about S Pen support of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Much of the familiar feature set of the Galaxy Note appears to have been transferred to One UI 3.1, including screen shutdown memos, air visualization and air control. Although the S Pen will be optional for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung does not appear to have compromised the software.
A UI 3.1 will also bring several camera updates, according to the leak. You will see a multi-camera feature that uses the Snapdragon 888 (and possibly the Exynos 2100) to show live views from three cameras at the same time. You will also see a focus intensifier and more accessible camera settings.

Other adjustments? Samsung Internet and Notes data will be synchronized between phones and tablets, allowing you to copy on one device and paste on another. You can also leave Google Discover for news in favor of Samsung Free, if that is your preference.
The clip also appears to confirm the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s specifications in addition to S Pen support, including 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of expandable storage (unlike regular S21 models) and a 5,000 mAh battery.
If the video continues, Samsung will confirm many of these details at its January 14 Unpacked event. It is safe to say that One UI 3.1 will not represent a radical change from 3.0 – the update mainly exists to accommodate specific hardware features for the Galaxy S21 Ultra and its low-end counterparts.
