President Biden did another round of X-rays on Saturday on his fractured right foot, which Dr. Kevin O’Connor says is improving “as expected”.
He paid the doctor’s visit to the Delaware Orthopedic Specialists on his first trip outside Washington since taking office. Biden sprained his ankle while playing with his German shepherd, Major.
O’Connor said it was a “weight-bearing X-ray regularly scheduled for 10 weeks after the injury”.

“The president’s symptoms have improved as expected and he is adhering to a strict physiotherapy regime. As we explained initially, the sprains of the foot can sometimes be a more significant injury than the bone fractures that accompany them. This x-ray is check if it has achieved good ligament stability, “O’Connor said in a statement.

Biden injured his foot in late November. He was seen walking and running lightly between the White House buildings, with no sign of injury. He was not seen wearing the boot that his doctor initially thought he would need.
“The initial radiographs guarantee that there is no obvious fracture and that he will do an additional tomography for more detailed images,” O’Connor said in a statement in November. “Follow-up computed tomography confirmed (small) fractures in the lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones of President-elect Biden, who are in the middle of the foot. It is anticipated that he will likely need a hiking boot for several weeks.”
